20x8.5 TSW Vortex + Eibach Pro Spring Kit

Sorry for the picture quality (phone cam + low daylight). Had these and a set of Eibach pro springs installed at the dealership today around 6pm and then had to run the hound before getting a chance ot snap some pix... Anyhow, I'm very pleased!

I previously had 255/40/20 Toyo ST's and now I have 255/45/20 Toyo Px4 and with the extra sidewall (just under 2" total), I think my ride is pretty much the same. Maybe just a bit smoother and quieter than before even with the springs.

It was big day for Marley, as I recv'd my ecu back reflashed from Hondata, too! Now ust waiting for my 15mm Ichiba spacers and HID conv kits for the DRL and fogs (it feels like x-mas! )

Without further adoo...

Before the Vortex + Eibachs

I'll take my camera out this weekend and snap some more photos, hopefully the weather agrees.

LOVEEE the vortex, the RJs look good the rim needs to be at least a 19 tho w/lower pro tire...with the chubby tire & 18 inch rim, kinda washes out the effect of the lowering kit & makes the tires look like donuts....i still dig the look, but the appearance is off....im not hating!!!!!

I really wanted to go with the 19"; but the added price of the rims and new tires would of been too much $$$ to justify to the wifey. The money I saved with sticking with the 18" I was able to do the reflash and Eibach pro kit within the budget.

Maybe in a few years I could move the RonJon's to my TSX and upgrade to 19" or 20" down the road (I think the RonJon will fit on the TSX?).

Well to be honest, they don't really flow well & they look a tad on the cheap side. Having said that, it's your car and as long as your happy with it, that's what really matters.

My girlfriend said the same thing, even though I already spent almost $2000 on these and she still think they look cheap and she said the OEM are even better.

So, trying to see if anyone would like to buy these locally and switch back to OEM ones.

... I'm jealous of you all, the wheels are totally changing the overall look of the RDX. BTW, was it a pain in the butt for you guys to transfer the tire pressure sensor to your new wheels?

What you guys think? Chrome or forged OEM 19" fit nicer with the White RDX? Someone is going to buy my rims and tires, so, I'm going to buy a new set at the dealer this week. Any thought?

what are some offsets safe to run? i realize that +43 is the stock, but to fit a bigger wheel like 19x9, can i run a +20? or should i stick w/ 19x8 +37

You'll be fine with either one. I'm running a 20x8.5 +35mm offset w/245/45 tires.

Check this out. Some pics of my Black on Black '09 RDX. With 22" Rims! IMHO 22's are what should be on the RDX. They fill out the wheel well and looks much better than a 20. It is all personal preference though.
Sorry for the Pics not being clear. I will take some more later and they will be Hi Def. For now here is a teaser pic. All comments welcome. Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Yes my RDX is lowered with the Eibach kit.
I still would like it a little lower but this is ok for now.

You're the second person to go with 22's!

How is the ride with the 22" and Eibach springs compared to 18" or 19"? I kept my 18" with the Eibach springs because I was worried about the ride quality with anything larger.
