Oil leak

Hey guys
So my 2.2 cl has been leaking for a while, but it suddenly got way worse. It drips oil every 3 seconds and I leave trails of oil and pools of oil everywhere I go. It's to the point where it's not drivable. It's leaking from somewhere above the transmission and its running down onto the transmission. I'm thinking its the rear main seal. Is there a possibility it could be anything else? I'm hoping its the crankshaft seal cuz that's still under warranty by the people who did my timing belt.

I'm praying its not the rear main seal. I thought I'd ask for your guys opinion.

Oh GAWD!!! I hope it's not your rear main seal either.....but if it's leaking above the tranny, maybe it's a cam seal...

I feel so stupid
So I opened the hood and actually opened my eyes and found out that I had a bad leak from my vtec solenoid. I just replaced the top gasket so now my car is good! Thanks again!

Hi, I'm new to the site. I wasn't sure if I was suppose to post my problem here or start I new thread. I read the noob guidelines. I'm sorry if I'm posting wrong. So I have a 97 3.0 CL,and I'm leaking oil bad. I checked my oil pan and my oil filter just in case it might be coming from there its not. Though it looks like its leaking from above the oil filter and dripping down onto the oil pan. Can anyone please help me? Again I apologize if I'm posting wrong. Thank you
