My 2010 ZDX Advanced

Hello everyone, first post here.
I totalled my last car, a 2011 Sonata, last September in an unfortunate single car accident, which resulted in 3 skull fractures, and brain surgery.

I was in the market for an awd/4wd SUV around 20k, primarily a Subaru or Jeep initially, but they are both so extremely common in my area I wanted something 'different'.

This ZDX just happened to be for sale locally. One local owner, 65k miles, was extremely comfortable and quite luxurious compared to a jeep, has great awd, the glass roof is cool, reliable, with many interchangeable Honda parts from the pilot, oddyssey, and MDX, it had a warranty, pretty reliable from what I read, looks great in my opinion, and less than 20k. The wheels are even OEM.

I couldn't find a reason not to get it.

Hey, Mtw828. Congrats and welcome to the club!

Is that a forward facing camera up on the windshield?

It is a front facing dashcam.

Kind of ironic actually - my last car also had a dashcam, but after the accident it was the only item that could not be located. The mount and power cord were in place, but the camera was nowhere to be found. This bothers me pretty much daily because I can't remember the wreck at all, or the two weeks after.

Thank you. To answer your earlier question about the tires, I have no complaints. They are 275/40R20, grip well in rain, and even light snow. Next up is some Nitro 420s in 285/40, with a 20mm hubcentric spacer to make it flush! I already have the spacers in my Amazon cart haha.

Hey HondaOwner, I see you sig has VIN 321. I've looked for a VIN decoder but don't see this info.
How did you find out?

Are your wheels 20 X 8.5 or 20 X 9? Next spring I am seriously gonna look for a set of 20 X 10's.

It's the 20x9 OEM wheel option. I wish it was a bit more concave and 20x10, but they look great in my opinion!

Oh yes, they do look very cool. And the 20 X 10's would look damn good too. I can't swing it now, as I am doing some "other" interior work, and I'll share pics of the before and after when completed. But next spring it's getting the 10's!!!!
