ZDX upshift faster than normal ?

ZDX upshift faster than normal ?
Hi everyone !
I just got my 2012 advance package Z couple of months ago. Only 3k miles on it. I wonder if anybody here have the same feeling like me. When I drive in D + sport mode I see the car upshift faster from the 3rd gear to 4th and 5th .It does not hold gear like other cars do. When it is up to the 6th gear and I want to downshift it take me to push harder on gas pedal. So I feel the car doesn't smooth at all.
Since I've had the Z for not too long so I don't know if this is normal ? Thanks in advance !
