Paint protection film?
I have a long weekend break, so I spent part of it detailing the ZDX for the first time since purchase. The paint got a good dose of claying and DA action with Klasse AIO/SG. I noticed two small rock chips, one on the front bumper and one on the left wheel panel.
Has anyone gotten protection film such as SunTek PPF, 3M, etc. for the ZDX? I know the folks over at the M forums swear by them for their M cars. Since I plan to keep the ZDX for a long time, I am contemplating protecting the front end from these annoying road debris.

never tried protection films but I was considering a complete vinyl wrap with some fancy color
as for rock chips just use touch up until there too many chips, then respray is not a bad solution

I had the 3M clear bra installed when I first got my ZDX in March 2010. They did the entire front bumper, lower part of the hood and the shield. It's held up really well in 3 1/2 years and no chips, bubbles, or discoloring. Cost was about $600 installed. They told me to use something like Turtlewax Ice on it periodically to keep clean. Just be careful to clean the edges of the bra each time you wash your car so it doesn't turn into a dark line from dirt. Claying the seams once in a while helps too. Would definitely recommend it if you plan to keep it a while.
