You need to start your own thread, it is considered impolite to "hijack" another person's thread. Just FYI

Sorry, but I was showing him mine as he was showing me his. I doubt if he cares if I "hijacked" his thread, but if he does I apologize to him. BTW, I'd like to see some pics of your ZDX.

Well I have some bad news for my ZDX friends. I have called it quits on my ZDX. This being my first auto car and SUV I still cant get myself to love as much as I should for the price of this car. I really do miss my small cars, and manual transmission. Over the weekend someone traded a 2003 Acura CL Type-S Manual with 53k miles at a local dealer in my area. This car is in amazing condition for the year and will be a great car for my daily commute. Plus im saving $500.00 a month in payments, its really a no brainer. My goal is to pay this off in the next year and get back into another NSX. I sure will miss everyone one, and feel I have met some great friends even though we have never been face to face. I will still be checking these forums daily to see what you ZDXrs are up too. Cherry O

I second that. You have definitely invoked thought and inspiration for most ZDXers here. In approx 18 mos I may be shopping for an NSX and hope to pick your brain at that point. Best of luck, bud.

Man this car is fun! And for the price you cant beat it. Its kind of nice being in a older car. You just kind of blind in with the road. The ZDX I couldn't go anywhere without people bugging me.

Thanks for the support, It was really fun trying new things with the ZDX. I could totally see myself getting another one later down the road, would be a sweet car to pick up when they are 15k-20k. So next year maybe haha just kidding. Just cant believe how much they are dropping in price.

Thanks dude, glad to of been some kind of guidance. Good luck with the NSX in the future. I can say first hand there is no car out there like the NSX, it's a true drivers car! Take care

Thanks, you know it was a hard thing to do! I had to go with my hart though. At least I tried the Automatic SUV thing and it just wasn't for me at this time of my life. I think this ZDX group is pretty unique, I really look forward to see what people will be coming up with.

Good luck with your CL typeS and your hunt for another NSX. I too had a CL typeS when it first came out. It was Sundance Gold but it was an automatic not a standard. My last standards were in my TSX and RSX typeS. Have fun! Another ZDX poster bites the dust!

Thanks, how did you like your CL? I really have became fond of this car. The ZDX has a lot more tech features but I dont really miss them since I have a manual, plus I love older cars for some reason. The power is pretty impressive too

Great looking ZDX. Sorry to hear that you are selling it, but it sounds like you might have the same disease I have - car a.d.d.

At any rate, I'm really interested in how you blacked out your window trim. If its not too much trouble, could you post some instructions on that? I know you used 3m film, but not sure about the other details.

Also, do you think the plasti-dip product would work on the front grill of my TL?

Sorry to hear about the Z being sold, but sounds like you picked up a nice CL.
Things in 2G CL are still pretty lively. My old 1G is still going at 182k miles.

You can post a link in this thread, if you decide to do so.

I can admit I have a disease when it cames to cars. As far as the molding goes you will want to cut the wrap to the same width as your chrome piece so you will have a perfect line. Cutting about 1-2mm wider is ideal, this will allow some play. I just applied it by hand. One hand held the wrap and the other applied it by rubbing it on. You will want to keep it tight so you make sure there are no creases or bubbles. If you mess up just peel off a little then lay back on. This stuff stretches too so that helps a lot. Anyone can do this! Hope this helps

The plasti dip would be great for the grille!

Sorry to see your ZDX have to go. You have one of the nicest setup I've ever seen. I wish I can see it in person before you part them out. Good luck on your next project!

You are really the only reason I want to keep my ZDX. Really want to get back to BMW 335i. Thought the ZDX would do it for me, I was wrong.
