Just came across your thread. Wow, the ride is looking sweet man. Love the mods you've done so far. It really needs a drop to take it to another level. Keep it up!
BTW what happen...i thought you were going to get the 4G TL?

Thanks! White is one of my first picks if they came in Black interior. Its not a good idea to do a staggered setup on AWD thats why I went the same size all around.

Well I can see what I can do for you when I get back to work next week, been in Canada on vacation. I did have to machine 5mm off the backpad to get them more flush with the fenders.

Thanks FYAH! I didnt go with the TL because I wanted more room and really loved the way the ZDX drove. I still love the TL and yours is one of my favorites for sure! You have great tastes

He has a great looking ZDX with his mods but not the only one with aftermarket wheels on his ZDX.

this is an inspiring car. I'm just amazed. I spend a lot of time reading threads but seldom respond. I've been a part of the community for years. Last year sold my favorite 01 CL type S (Sunset Gold). I've been considering a ZDX since the concept came out but still waiting for one at the right price. Of course I'm partial to the Ionized Bronze. I love the painting on this car and now I'm thinking how a similar Bronze one would look.

As for lowering - I really think yours looks excellent at the height it's at!

Thanks, I will agree this car doesnt look too bad at this height. I just love a lowered car for some reason.

That looks interesting, I really like how it flows into the glass. I have never been a fan of smoked tails but that might just work

Im a pretty small dude 5'6 150 Pounds. Everyone makes jokes that I need a phonebook to look over the dash lol. Too me I think this is the reason It does well with me. I find it to be very roomy and I have only had people in the back once since I picked it up. I actually got in the back last week when I was showing some friends the stereo. Pretty comfy for me, but I do agree getting in and out is different then most.

The spare tire is located under the car in the rear.

Ya pretty much like any other SUV I would think? Im sure they did this to create more cargo space for the rear. Hope my spare 22" fits in there!

i only say this because in my 2002 bmw X5 the spare tire is located under the trunk floor.i guess acura didn't want that so you could have more cargo room,i personally prefer it being in the trunk though.

It is under the trunk floor, not on the bottom of the car.

Oops! Thought I was still in the RDX forum. Yup, the ZDX has a nice hidden cargo compartment under the trunk space...

To drop the tire you put a wrench into a hole that is on the outer part of the trunk (where the trunk closes) and rotate until the tire drops.

the opposite way, you connect the cord to the tire and start turning the bolt the opposite way. This process may involve you getting dirty

Your Z looks hot!

What did you use on your reflectors to get them blacked out?

Thanks, I ended up using some black spray paint I had at the house. I think any kind of black would work, since they are down low you cant even notice them. Its a great mod for how long it takes. I think I was done in about a hour(let the paint dry good enough, its really dry here so it sped up the process)

The LEDs do come with the running boards from Acura. I think they are a happy medium of brightness. You can see them from very far away at night, looks pretty cool and elegant. But they are not blinding if you stare at them for a period of time. If I had to guess I believe there are only two LEDs one on each side that make it illuminate across the boards.

I plan on ordering a set of 2010 and 2011 Honda Odyssey springs in the next month hopefully to see if it will work. The 2010 looks real freakin close I actually have my ZDX up for sale at the moment. Dont get me wrong I love this car to death but to I really miss my NSX and I have always wanted to get a +02 and I think it's time. I honestly dont think the ZDX will sell right now but we will see. If I have to keep it for awhile and safe more money towards my NSX im fine with that too. I just know it will be a long hunt for the perfect NSX so I will have to be patient. Thanks for the kind words by the way.

I do agree this car does look better in person. The lines just don't work well with pictures for some reason.

I was showing a friend the ZDX over the weekend and he does custom fab work with intakes and exhaust. He does really good work We are going to build an intake and exhaust for starters. I have been looking at some of the jpipes and highflow cats from the TL boards. Seem to be some good power gains from these items. I will keep you guys posted lowering, intake, and exhaust is next hopefully

Nice. Was thinking about exhaust mods but expectedly found none. Also shops don't seem to be ready to deal with superchargers for ZDX
