So I'm looking to buy a car this week or next. Basically it boils down to the Acura ZDX Tech or TL AWD/Tech.

2012 ZDX Tech Lease (on Acura.com)
$570/35months ($0 1st month) + $0 down = $19950 total over 3 years (excluding tax, title, etc)

2012 TL Tech/AWD Lease
$480/36 months + $3800 down = $21080 total over 3 years (including tax, title, etc)

This is pissing me off because the TL should be cheaper but the lease special for the ZDX isn't making it cheaper...after tax/title, it will be roughly the same price. Gas scares me. Insurance is only $200 higher per year for the ZDX for me.

I'm going into the dealer tomorrow to talk to them. What is my fighting power? I was looking at a used 2010 ZDX in Chicago but its $37,600. I just can't justify putting $12k down and taking a loan out for $25k and paying $460/month for 5 years when I can walk out the door with a brand new one for roughly $100 more per month and NO down. And not worry about the 20k miles on the 2010.

As you can tell - I'm more worried about what I pay over 3 years than my monthly payment...I have student loans that are 6.8% interest and I'd just shift money over to them instead of paying a down...

Is the ZDX lease a good deal? Can I haggle it down more? Fighting power? Am I crazy? Anything...
