In my recent holiday travels throughout CA and OR, I have found a few hotels that offer complimentary EV charging onsite. All but 1 needed no passcode or room key card to use.

So, I'll keep an eye out for this free method to charge my ZDX....

 

Do this in the morning and eat their free continental breakfast while charging your car

 

Mornings are tough to get access to the free chargers. The parking space is "premium", mostly near the entrance, and in the mornings the lot is usually full. Early afternoons, around 1-3pm is when I've found them easily accessible.
