Don't they take your car away if you're found guilty of street racing? I remember the article about the ferrari and m6. Government took them and sold it. o.o

Cruisin'
Wow it looks like I've been getting really lucky with my fuel consumption. My MID keeps switching between 9L/100km and 10L/100km and I do about 90% city driving. A lot of it during rush hours. That gives me at least 500km until the fuel light goes on. It is a 6spd '05 and I tend to coast a lot. On the other hand, I have 19" rims on it which weigh slightly more than the stockies.

I'm lost..
I know this topic has been covered before but it wasn't discussed in detail so I'm hoping to get updated numbers from fellow TLers.
I am close to 100% city driving and the best, best, best I have ever gotten was 13L/100km which needless to say, didn't last very long and soon jumped back to 14 which is the number I usually get. I TRIED driving like a granny for 2 whole weeks and still 14L/100km. What is everyone else getting and how many kms on a tank before the trip computer reaches 0? Driving like a granny gets me 380km (I fill up at around 350 when it says 30km left) possibly a bit more cause I still do the occasional heavy acceleration. 380km was October numbers, I've been driving my TL hard lately (hard acceleration 60% of the time, 3/4 of the pedal down sometimes flooring it) and its up to 15L/100km now.
So here are my three questions.
L/100km? 14
average km/h? Roughly 26-27
how many km per tank if the trip computer was to reach 0?
(Not the estimated km after a fill up cause we all know how fast the trip computer drops) Roughly 380km driving like a granny

I'm at 10L/100km. I live in White Rock/South Surrey and half of my driving is highway. A majority of that is conservative driving with a recent mix of spirited driving (aka i'm late for my flight x 3 times). I cant tell you what the range is because I haven't completely filled up in a while (I don't drive much because I spend 2/3's of the month in Alberta).
For a Type S, 10L/100KM is pretty decent. Strictly city driving will hurt, especially daily commuters. Solution? Get a beater. The TL essentially is my 'days off' car. Otherwise I drive a 96 Camry in Alberta.

I'm out here in New Brunswick...quite a way away but I average 8L/100km in these cold months. In the summer its almost always 7L/100 bone stock. I'm thinking about a lightweight crank pulley and a good J-pipe to hopefully dip into the 6's. I usually get 550 - 570kms before the light this time of year.
Oh yeah, 07 WDP with 230,000kms!

I'm right about there. Usually average 12 or 13, but my driving is about 70 city/30 highway and get about 350-360 km before the light comes on. But I live 15 min. away from the border and have Nexus, so I fill up for about $55. I did a west coast trip last summer down to Palm Springs and averaged 7 the whole trip though, always getting at least 600 km every tank before the light came on (cruise control set at 120).
