Vancouver TLers - L/km?
I know this topic has been covered before but it wasn't discussed in detail so I'm hoping to get updated numbers from fellow TLers.
I am close to 100% city driving and the best, best, best I have ever gotten was 13L/100km which needless to say, didn't last very long and soon jumped back to 14 which is the number I usually get. I TRIED driving like a granny for 2 whole weeks and still 14L/100km. What is everyone else getting and how many kms on a tank before the trip computer reaches 0? Driving like a granny gets me 380km (I fill up at around 350 when it says 30km left) possibly a bit more cause I still do the occasional heavy acceleration. 380km was October numbers, I've been driving my TL hard lately (hard acceleration 60% of the time, 3/4 of the pedal down sometimes flooring it) and its up to 15L/100km now.
So here are my three questions.
L/100km? 14
average km/h? Roughly 26-27
how many km per tank if the trip computer was to reach 0?
(Not the estimated km after a fill up cause we all know how fast the trip computer drops) Roughly 380km driving like a granny

mine has been getting 13.3L/100km lately...it used to be around 11...I'm guessing the main reason for this drop is that it only takes 7 min to get to work/go home. The engine doesn't even have time to warm up.

How do you guys get as low as 11L, I even struggle to get down to 13L while driving like a grandma. I'm guessing sinces you have a MT it is suppose to use up less fuel if you drove conservatively. My Average is 14 being AT, lowest was 13, that jumped back to 14, driving terribly slow though.
How about your average km/h? This at least tell me how often you stop & go giving me a better indication. I'm 26/27 which probably is quite frequent, I think.

I do a lot of highway driving....Surrey to Vancouver and I am always between 10 and 11L.
The premium gas is killing me though....and i've put 16k on it since I bought it in April

Wow 12L/100km, I've never been able to keep it as low as that. This week is going great for me though, 13L/100km, 300km with trip computer telling me I still got 130km left to go. 10% highway, 90% city while being stuck in traffic sometimes because of the construction going on in burnaby.

I get about 12 or 13 L/100km usually going Burnaby to Surrey and sometimes Burnaby to Poco. So that's anywhere from 420 to about 450 km a tank and that's sometimes in rush hour and sometimes not.

I get MID saying 12 with mostly 70% city driving...on a full tank just as the light goes on I usually get anywhere between 410-430km....once the light goes off the range is usually 35km...run it down to 0 few times and then fully top it off...one time it fit 57L and yesterday it fit 53L....considering that the tank holds approx. 65L there is plenty of fuel left even if it looks bone dry....

Cruisin'
After 5 weeks and around 2000km....MID shows 11-12 L/100km. That is almost all city driving from Port Moody to Burnaby and North Van. Im sure it would get a little better if I relaxed a bit...but the noise as the 3.5 clears its lungs and revs to redline is much too intoxicating to deprive yourself of. Curious as to what kinda mileage it would get on a long drive say to California....

I am just wondering when you say heat, are you meaning the heater effects the mileage ? Afaik only air conditioning will have a significant effect. When the heater is on all you are running extra is the fan to blow air through the heater core.
