any of you guys know a good lawyer i just got my car impounded for 30 days and a court date for street racing.. i was driving 80km/h in a 60km/h zone :S

or any advice that could help me in this situtation

Sorry to hear that. Unless the cop doesn't show up in court, otherwise it will be your story against the cop's story, and the judge will very likely go for the cop's story.

update: im getting my car back tonight they decided to change the 30 day impound to 48 hour impound

i really missed hearing my exhaust loll i only had it for like half a day then my car got impounded same day

i got a speeding ticket as well couple months ago but i disputed it, the cop caught me goin 80 in a 50 zone goin down boundary on radar :S iuno wat im goin 2 say when i go to court on the 21st... any1 got any ideas?? lol to get around gettin the ticket, i dunt need the extra points or ill be out of my licence way past summmer =(

that is good news. i'm glad it was 2 days and not 30 days as the impound fee per day is like 80 bucks.

so 160 ish for impound fee is actually small.

no he doesnt do alignment ive asked him before he sends people to a different shop for alignments

Thanks guys but its ok because I was so desperate for a battery I went back to Acura to buy one. NorthShore Acura sold me their OEM battery for $120 (5yr warranty) vs $160 at Burrard Acura. Don't go to Burrard Acura...such a rip off!!! I will eat my words as the OEM battery sucks ass but I had no choice since my battery was completely dead and I needed one ASAP since I rely on my car everday...LOL!!!

I went to West Coast Alignment on Powell and Salsbury Drive and they did a very good job for my car. They are lowered friendly too so that would be perfect for most of the guys here!!

if you were gonna get another stock battery you should have bought one of those battery chargers from canadian tire for like 60 to 70 bucks or so and just charge your old one thats what i did lol my battery dies all the time from my system

Good idea but my battery was completely drained out to death. It was so dead that I couldn't even turn on my radio...LOL!!!

It is much better to buy batteries from Canadian Tire. If you buy from them and your battery craps out, you simply bring it back to them to swap for a new one or buy another one pro-rated, depending on how long you have used the battery.

The best part is that Canadian Tire stores are virtually everywhere and open 7 days a week.

so i went to court 2day for the speeding ticket and window tint tickets, the cop had physical evidence on me and i had nuttin he had the radar 81/50km zone, judge gave me a 3 months drving prohibition and reduced the window tint ticket to 10$ from 109$ and the speeding ticket from 196$ to 150$, sucks tht i lost it tho, anyways after the judge gave me 3 month driving suspension will ICBC add on to that prohibition or was it the judges final call?

they did that to me when i got a 3 month suspension for a speeding ticket on my N and i couldnt get my class 5 for another 2 years after i got it reinstated

haha yeah we dont , w.e 3 months without havin my licence i can deal with atelast it wasnt like 8 months plus same goes for u , just hope icbc cant add on to it since the judge basicly laid it down, nd i canclled my incurance till summer also
