I changed my tires on my TL about 3 weeks ago. No regrats!
The few really bad days, I just took Wifey's car, as I left the winter rubber on her ride for now. She was able to work from home, so no big deal.
Though, my summer tires on the TL (Bridgestone Potenza RE-11As) are some of the most gangster tires I have EVER owned. You're not supposed to use summer rubber below 7C, but I was on them at 0C with wet roads and had zero issues whatsoever. Zero slippage. I mean, I wasn't pushing the car through corners or anything, but I was driving normally and didn't have the slightest concern. Color me impressed.
Had it been even a bit sketchy, I would have put my winters back on.
And yeah, for the record, the RE-11As are some of the most bada$$ tires money can buy. I've never been able to push a tire as hard as those things. I would physically have to try to break traction with them. It takes a while before they even start to chirp on dry asphalt, and even then, you can push them harder before they start to break traction.
I've heard they are being discontinues (Sad face) in place of the 71Rs.... I have no experience with those yet, but will eventually buy a set for my Nismo. Honestly, for the price, nothing beats Bridgestone's top summer tires, if you like to drive hard. Costco has a sale on bridgestone tires twice a year (April and in September, I think) and they are worth every penny!!

Got some winter tires up for sale if anyone is interested lol.
Selling a set of 19" Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 winter tires. 225/45R19 96V rating. Used for only 2 winter seasons so lots of tread life left on them. The one tire shown in one of the photos has a tiny puncture on it, very minor and has not gone all the way through.
Reason for selling is I no longer have the rims for them. Looking for $800 obo.

Hey guys, I have been inactive on Acurazine lately. Been on tsxclub because I have purchased an 06 Acura TSX on December of 2016. So it's been a year now since I've owned the car. So far I've been enjoying it's driving dynamics and handling characteristics but I think it's time for me to sell my baby and upgrade to a 3G.

Best place to buy tires
Not sure if this thread is still monitored by anyone; been quiet for a long time. But just in case, I figured I'd ask where you guys are going for tires. I need to replace my all-seasons, and figure I'll get a set of wheels while I'm at it. In the past, I used to buy from Tire Warehouse, but ever since Wayne left there, I've found little reason to go back. I have my changeovers done at Fountain Tire, but they specialize in Goodyear, and I'm not about to go down that road again. Costco is generally a good option, but it looks like I can get a set of Pirelli P-Zero All Season Plus for less at 1010Tires.com.
Before I pull the trigger, anyone else have any suggestions?

Costco is the cheapest place by far to buy tires, in town. I've yet to see anyone match their prices.
Other than that, I just ordered off 1010tires, simply due to the size I needed (325 wide rears ), and limited availability.
Honestly.. Pirelli's are overpriced garbage.

I bought two sets of winter tires so far from Quattro Tires. I was looking specifically for Toyo winter tires and this guys had by far the best price. Nobody in Edmonton could come even close to it, even my buddy who owns a mechanic auto shop and sells tires, rims, etc. He told me that this price is well below what he pays.
It was a great experience dealing with Quattro, the tires were shipped in two days and arrived to my door steps in four days. I would definitely buy from them again.

Thanks again for the Quattro tip. They were cheaper than any other option I could find, and seem to have a pretty great selection. I ultimately went with 1010Tires, as Quattro doesn't sell wheels, and once I factored in the price difference, as well as the cost of separately receiving, mounting and balancing (which is included with the 1010 purchase), it made sense to simply get everything in one order. That said, when my winters need replacing (which might be anytime now), I'll certainly be looking at Quattro.

Glad I was able to help. Yeah they are great to deal with. I ended up buying rims from my buddy who was able to get me better price for them than 1010 or anybody else, plus I know he will look after me better than 1010 who are a thousand miles away. Also, 1010 ended up giving me a wrong offset for my rims.... my buddy was able to find the mistake and ordered me a correct offset. Otherwise, the tires would have been sticking out way too much.

Serious?
Happens every year for at least the last ten years. Used to be at United cycle, in the parking lot, but was moved to the river cree casino this year. Everyone brings out their cars for the first meet of the year... Season opener is quite large.
Details can be found by just googling "780tuners 2018 season opener". It'll bring up some Facebook pages with all the details, which I can't link from my phone here.

My dashcam? Depends on the day. I picked up the VIOFO A119, partially because it mounted so discretely, which I like. The version I picked up came with a GPS module, which is the part that sticks to the window, and which the camera mounts to. Problem is, the connection between the two components is not the best, and I was running into issues with it randomly restarting, often getting into a restart "cycle", with no usable video be taken. It was worst on hot days. It's apparently not an isolated case, and others have had the same issue. The company's customer service is weak, at best, though they did eventually respond with a "fix", sending me some foam rubber pads to stick between the units. Seems to have helped, though there's still the odd restart. Overall, I like the form factor of this one, but honestly would not recommend it.
That said, having a cam has been really useful. A month ago, I was rear-ended by a Ford Escape at a marked crosswalk; I stopped for the pedestrian (who happened to be the Premier), but the woman behind me didn't. Probably an accident, right...totally not on purpose . In any event, I took all the other driver's info, pictures, recorded details of the collision, and only later realized I totally forgot to get her license plate; got the details, but missed the most basic item of all. But fortunately, my dashcam recorded it. Still dealing with the bodyshop on that.
