Hey all,

I have finally decided to tint the windows on my 2008 TL-S and really want the job done right....so I figured this would be one of the best places to get opinions!!

So...can anyone recommend a shop/place to get the windows done??

I am willing to drive some distance to get it done...dont really want to have to drive to Chilliwack but if thats the best place then so be it.

 

i recommend n-motion. they did a great job applying the window tint film! they give lifetime warranty if anything happens with their worksmanship or defective film. even though it was like a 3 hour job it was done with quality!

i brought my mercedes to him and the tint it peeling. i went to some place in richmond, they did 5 windows (that little window counts) on a 3g tl and they even got under that pilar thats hard to get to on the little window. its in like some back alley of yohan

 

ive seen a couple of 3g tl's that didnt get that piece under the pilar tineted

 

yup thats him. damn you should take it back to him and complain he should fix it for you.

 

hmmmm.... im quality over price lol I rather not have to waste more time to get it fixed the second or third time. Like it done right the first time! =)

 

Automagic in the Richmond Automall has a tint shop. I've had 4 cars (including a friends car) and all 4 times I've been 100% satisfied. Never had an issue with peeling, bubbling or warping.

Has anyone been to Controlled Solar innovations in langley? I am looking to get my windows done and they were recommended to me, specifically a guy named Craig.

 

I have done 2 cars at N-motion before and both were 100% satisfied experience. These guys know what they are doing and they carry very high quality window tint. Some are quite expensive but I care more about if the product will work properly. My new TL will go to them again in a few weeks when I return to Vancouver.

 

i found n motion a bit expensive, went to a guy in richmond and got it done for 150. the job was so good i brought 5 of my friends cars to him and the work is all 100%. takes like 2 hours though

 

I use Ty at Tyco tinting, I got his number from revscene when I had my civic, couple of friends been to him after and they are all very satisfied by his work, will be getting all 7 windows done for $220 on wednesday.

I've gotten both TLs I've owned done at Spectrum in Surrey for $150. They have a really good quality film. It's 5% but visibility is great, even at night.

 

I have all my tint work from work done with PH Solar Tint. Paul and his boys are good and their prices are fair.

 

Anyone here used street legal tint on Marine?

 

I have used them before through work. Their quality of work is more consistent but they also charge a tad higher.

Thanks LSMKB1. I ended up going there. Got dealer price on the job which ended up pretty good I think. The work ended up being really nice as well. He's pretty particular. A buddy of mine took his BMW there at the same time - tint buddies. LOL

Tyco tinting quality work and has been in the business way before ph solar n nmotion and I'm pretty sure he's trained most of there techs

 

+1 got my TL done there all the rears for 170 and lifetime warranty.

My entire family (2 cars) and my old integra was done there as well. Premium work..

btw all they do window tinting, so you imagine if they dont do good work they wont be open very long
