92-94 Octane shortage in Calgary

Has anyone else noticed that Husky is out of 92 and 94 Octane in most places in Calgary? 16th ave Husky is the only place I know of that still has some in the tanks.

Also a lot of the Shells I've drove by seem to be completely out of fuel.

What the hell is going on?!

The big red "Sorry this fuel is currently unavailable" stickers on the 92 and 94 buttons usually give it away Shell has signs over the pumps in a few locations...

I know somethings wrong because I asked the attendant at Shell and he said they were first to get hit, and Husky was second. He also told me he had absolutely no idea what was going on and Shell was refusing to give them details

Oh also the reason I fill up with 94 is that I notice an increase in mileage... and it might just be me but marginally smoother throttle response.

My mentality - you're driving a nice car... might as well treat it to the best gas you can get your hands on as long as it's not breaking the bank too much.
