2006 CSX premium trim, the left side low beam OEM HID is not working. Tried 2 new replacement bulbs and verified that the ballast is receiving power. Too much effort to remove original and wondering can an aftermarket replacement kit work without having to remove the original ballast and igniter. I believe this car has D2R 35w bulbs? - I do not want to have to remove the bumper as it has been epoxied to the clips as clips were broke.

 

sorry, HID is out on the right side, not left side, which makes it easier to access
