So I added (2), assuming I had to choose 2 to qualify for the special, black Uber towels to my cart. It came to a total of 19.96. But in my head I'll be getting 4 towels for $20, which is the same price as normal. So will the total update through the checkout process or by choosing (2), would I receive 2 sets of buy 2 get 2 totaling 8 for $20?

you lost me a bit if you order 2 towels you will end up with 4 towels.

buy 2 plus get 2 free = 4 towels.

if you pick up a qty of 2 on that deal you will end up with 8 towels.

I have a QTY of (2) in my Cart showing a total of $19.96, I only wanted to make sure I was going to receive 8 towels in all.

So if I have a QTY of (1) in my Cart, showing $9.98, Ill get 4 towles? Or only 2?

that is correct if you buy 2 get 2 free and put qty 1 in the car you will get a total of 4 towels.

if you put a qty of 2, for the buy 2 get 2 deal you will get a total of 8 towels.
