zaino streaks?
i just did the zaino process......washed, clayed, washed.......then 1 coat of z5 with zfx.............let dry then removed with towels.........anyway there appear to be streaks....light/dark....in the same pattern i used on the clay bar as well as the z5......back and forth.........are the streaks from the claybar or the z5 being more concentrated in these streaky areas........do i start over or apply more z5
........................Homer2 where are you

streaks are generally the result of too much - (not dried enough) zaino.
they will disappear with time and washing . . . dont layer more coats on.... i suspect the next washing will greatly reduce them...
i've done it too . . . . it took me three washing to minimize them enough to proceed with more layers . . . thin thin thin . ..

well, it does sound like that makes sense . . .
but it also may depend on what has been applied over it, if anything.
the traditional route is to spritz it with water and wipe . . .
if it has seemingly cured - then regular washing may be the answer . . .
anyway we shake it - it isnt permanent at all -
sorry - im not more clear - having one of those days when the brain isnt keeping up with the clock

did u use 2/3 of a mixed bottle of polish ?
or 2/3 of all the zfx in the little blue dropper bottle ?
either way - holy moley !
whats the best way to use it ?
when you are going to use more than one coat of top polish - pour , at most, 1/2 of one of the mixing bottles with youtr top polish (z5). Then add 4 or 5 drops of zfx into the bottle. shake for 90 seconds - and apply your first of at least two coats from that one ounce of mixed polish. each mixer bottle is 2 ounces.
you should easily, very easily be able to get two good coats from one ounce - and when you are good - you could get three.
it goes on so thin , you have to wonder if you are applying any -
i suggest - spaghetti thin lines across the applicator - maybe two of them - then fold the applicator over itself - (to spread the polish better) and then wipe onto car in the directions dictated by the panel or part of car you are working on.
now, as to what happens without zfx - thats not hard.
zfx needs to be used like z1. every 10 coats or 6 months - you need to use either at least once. of course, you can do it at 9 coats , or 5 months - its not that rigid . . .
if you want , email me at dennis@mossmans.com - and Ill send you a user guide that "might" make the application process a little clearer.
