Zaino help?!?!
I am new to this website and new to owning an Acura. I want whats best for my car and I've been seeing people mention Zaino all over place. If someone could tell me exactly what it is and why it's so much better than everything else that'd be great. I really want to keep my car looking good for many years to come. Thanks in advance!

Where is my super sauce?
I also discovered Zaino when I discovered this forum while contemplating the CL Type S 6 Speed.
Check out the sticky thread at the top of this forum for links, but in brief: Zaino and Autopia Detailing Site will get you started and maybe a little confused.
Zaino is not a wax - it is a polymer car finish (there are only a few polymers on the market, BlackFire is another one). Application is easy and the results are quite impressive, especially if you are used to the 'generic' waxes that you can buy at Target or Walmart, like I was.:o
The key to Zaino is not only the depth of shine, but the protection and longevity of the product. A complete set-up will cost you in the range of $50-60, but I think it's well worth it (after all you did drop ~$30K on the car). The stuff does last.
I'm sure other Zainoheads will enlighten you. Check out some of the signature pics from the Zaino'ed members of this forum. You'll be impressed.

Zaino makes the car look and feel brand spankin new again...protects for a looooong time, long after waxes last
that Nu Finish ("once a year car polish") is ridiculous...i polish my baby every week, and the car cannot get any redder![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
now if Zaino can take our shitty paint and make it look stunning, that's saying something!!! it is so worth the initial hassle of the first few coats...ZFX helps speed up the process considerably to reduce hassle
u'll know y we talk it up so much when u use it

Cost Drivers!!!!
Zaino accept no substitutes...........
Nothing will make your car look as good and protect as long as Zaino. YOu can Zaino twice a year because you really don't need to do it more than that OR to get the best protection on the market you can wax as much as you like.

Seeing you're from Florida, I would trust nothing but a polymer like Zaino or Blackfire, especially on a black car.
