Xtreme Detailing

Has anyone ever heard of a product called Xtreme Detailing? My dad just gave me a bottle of the stuff, but I'm a little hesitant to use it on my '05 WDP TL (for obvious reasons). It's a waterless car wash like the Dri Wash 'n' Guard stuff, I think.

Therein lies the rub

If you didn't get an answer here from exceldetail or others, TRY HERE

Now, I will move this to Wash & Wax where you should get better exposure.

JMAD93,

Your car is white so it will hide many of the scratches, swirls, spiderwebbing that dark cars show easily but they will be there and my suggestion is not to use any waterless carwashing products.

Xtreme is pretty new and I have nothing bad or good to say about their products but the dirt on your car has abrasives in it like sand, fine particles, etc... and using any solution and wiping them off will create minute scratches, swirls and spiderwebbing.

See the thread on washing your car that I added to Patrick's sticky thread. It will give you some reasons for using water, the right soaps and accessories to wash your car.
