Swissvax is popular with the pros out there. So are Optimum Car Wax and AutoGlym HD, but they're effing expensive.

Told you.
I hear Zaino is great, especially black, but only if your paint is completely defect-free, otherwise you get shiny swirls. Especially on black, haha.
They sell AutoGlym HD at Canadian Tire (like a Canadian AutoZone) for something like $50CDN, and everybody I've seen try it loves it.

From what I hear one of the best, if not the best wax you can get for a reasonable price.

Actually Zaino $$ can sneak up on you ... Z2 sealant ( even tho they call it a polish ) is $15 then the required Z-aio is 25 or the ZFX is $20 so it gets up to the $40 + range and add shipping ...

I'm a thrill seeker in my
How's this for glossy? This is with a nice coat of Optimum spray wax. I used Opti-Seal after my fall detail last year and it turned out pretty damn deep too.

The Old Grey Whistle Test
The aesthetics- of a vehicles appearance is usually based upon an emotional reaction and is very subjective to say the least, the only best wax or sealant that really matters is what looks 'best' to you. In the final analysis it all come down to; 85% surface preparation, 5% product, 7% application methodology and the balance is in the ‘guy’ of the beholder
If you apply a product over a surface that is dirty or one that has surface imperfections a wax or sealant will not disguise it, only highlight them.

IMO the comments about a swirled car applied with wax just makes the swirls look shiny is a bit exaggerated. Most of the posters here treasure the paint of their cars and it's probably in better condition than 99% of cars out there. However, it takes a more than just a glance to spot swirls, even on a black car, unless there is direct sunlight. I like the way the car looks with wax applied, swirls or not. In fact, I think the swirls are less visible after a nice coat of wax. Might just be the placebo effect, but
My point is to 99% of the population, a clean waxed car stands out, swirls or not. The other 1% is us, and almost the first thing we look for is the condition of the paint.

Those scratches don't seem too deep, you could probably get them off using a good polish and some elbow grease. It'll take longer, but at least you don't have to pay $200+ for an orbital.

Someone told this fellow here "you could probably get them off using a good polish and some elbow grease." and he thought he had a good polish.
Tool us hours to polish out the mess.
