My sealant of choice is FS UPP and would like to try OptiSeal by Optimum. For polishes, I use the BS line by FS. I also use Optimum polish and compounds depending on what needs to be done.

this guy seems new, so you might want to go easy on the acronymns.

Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection (FS UPP, F* UPP) is my choice for wax/seal as well.

my favorites are:

collinite 845 (wax)
zaino z5 (sealant)
duragloss 105 (sealant)
FS UPP (sealant)

too many more to name...but the above are all high quality and work well. they don't stain trim either.

Word on Four Star UPP........I keep going back to it over and over again. And the only reason I dont use it is if Im trying something new that someone wants me to evaluate and carry.
Some other worthy entries would include, Duragloss #111 or 105, einszzet Glanz Wax.
The latest is....System One
Initial impression with this System One is leaning favorably.
I meant to use it on the Saab I did today, but forgot I even had it with me...

Hey Patrick is this the System One you're referring to and how does it compare to OSW and UPPS?

No where near as easy as either of those. They recommend applying on a wet surface, wiping in, and finishing the whole car like this. Then going back over the car again with another towel. I would recommend wiping in a buffing away immediately. Its probably a little above average. I have to look into pricing and see what it actually goes for. The pump wax is a little too light of a spray (over atomized) and I found the majorty of the product, floating away while using. Nice feel to the wax though, a little better the 2nd day.

Personnally, I agree. I did my Zaino about 7-8 months ago. 2 coats is all. I use drive through car washes, ( can't do at home due to water restictions). Had the cCUv washed & hand dried, (they did a HORRIBLE job), went home and did a re-due with Z-06(?) inbetween polish, drive through wash about a moth later & here it is.......

Just remember, everyone responding here is telling you what works best FOR THEM on THEIR car. Most of the products for your car are not terribly expensive, so give a few a try and find a combo that YOU like. Also, remember that no wax or sealant will overcome poor preparation (polish, clay, etc..) in the long run.

Good luck!

OH, add my vote for Collinite 845IW, Nattys Blue, and Klasse AIO/SG!

Well said. My votes go to UPP, Duragloss #111/105 and probably Feedom One......

or from an authorized Zaino distributor and there are a several in the the continental US and Canada. Unfortunatley, finding one does involve some research. On the west coast you can contact LAZaino (call for orders) and for NorCal contact SJZaino. For the 808 folks, PakShak.

I absolutely love ZAINO! I even have a t-shirt

Since I have used Zaino for about 6 years, I have often used other products on other cars (wife's, kid's, friends) and of those other brands, I like p21s best, Natty's Paste wax, and Black Magic Liquid Wax. Most of your results come from the paint preparation
