I use Mothers spray wax from the parts stores

For the longest time I used the paste that leaves the white residue. I'll never go back to that now. Especially on a black car

I personally think Optimum Spray Wax is the best spray wax I've used. Bought gallons of it ever since.

I like using Turtle Wax ice spray wax because it can be applied on rubber and plastic pieces also.

Here's a list of the spray waxes on my car shelf in the basement:

1) Aquawax
2) Optimum Spray Wax
3) Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax
4) Mothers Reflection spray Wax

I like them all however I use the Aquawax more than anything else because it's pretty cheap and works well as a drying agent. The Mothers is a little thicker and not as easy to wipe on wipe off but I like it best on my wife's black Mazda. I think the Pinnacle leaves the slickest finish but the Optimum is a close second. It's fun to try different product but at the end of the day the differences between them are subtle IMO.

I second that. It's all i use when i detail my car. But i am open to newer products. Had my car detailed by professional and used some added protection for winter. Stuff made by Company in Vegas called Gloss-it. 9H-Quartz. Very expensive product. But worth every penny! Water/Mud/dirt/ etc... beads slides right off car. Never gets dirty.

This is a great all around product with up to 6 weeks of protection.

Kenotek Showroom Shine

If you need more in protection I would say the Sonax Brilliant Shine, or even more Sonax Polymer Net Shield.

For something super easy to use with up to 3-6 months Nanolex Spray Sealant

Since you asked, the best spray wax will have to be Optimum spray wax. I ordered a big gallon of it but never used it. So how do I know its the best? Well, research I guess. I don't like waxing since there are better products. I use a sealant by optimum but that shit streaks like a mofo so I do without any protection. I just use a detailer.

Optimum spray wax works well for me. I think this product can be layered unlike some other options out there that remove some or all of the existing protection. Easy to use and lasts quite well too.
