What is the diff between S100 and P21S

Both Carnauba waxes discussed in threads below. S100 is availabe on the net for $15, P21S is $25. Is there a difference in the products or not?

Not that anyone's been really able to prove. Everyone I know uses S100 and I plan on giving it a try soon.

I've never been able to tell the difference. The only difference I think there is would be the spelling, the color, and $10 bucks. Everything else you can test on a wax has been equal as far as I can tell. They apply the same, appear the same, and last the same. If you can't tell a wax appart from another wax then its obviously not different in the kind of way that matters. If you have a choice then get the S100. You'll never notice the difference between the two.

I've got a picture of the two of them together but apparantly its larger than the 1 byte maximum file size for attaching. lol Oh well.... S100 is a little more yellow than P21S. That's it.

Thank you, guys.

Jngrbrdman, you might be interested to know that your comments in an earlier thread were the main reason I've decided to give S100 a try. As you suggested, I did some looking around, and everybody who has tried it raves about it.

Sweet. I'm glad that you are going to give it a try. The thing you are going to like the most is how when it rains or if you are driving in the rain, how the dirt just seems to rinse right off your car. Your car will still get dirty, but it will be half as dirty as normal after driving home in the slush or rain. Its pretty slick stuff. You'll love it.

I ordered S100 last night from carcrazy.net (free delivery, good prices, and no taxes!). it should be here in a week.

I have a few coats of Meguirs gold already on the car, but I think that will make for a nice combination of depth and shine.

Thanks for the useful information!

Just don't top S100 with Meguiar's Gold Class. Gold Class has enough of a solvent content that it basicly acts like a mild cleaner wax. It will pretty much remove the S100 if you tried to put that on top. S100 of Gold Class looks great. You'll like it.
