I am having one hell of a time waxing my CL. It is hard to see where the wax is after you put it on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hope this helps...My previous car was white...Just be sure to wax a section at a time. That way you don't lose track of where all the wax is. You just have to let light hit it at an angle to see the dull spots (wax) on the finish....kinda like looking for dings in your door.

Do it in halves. Half the roof, half the trunk, you get the idea. This way you know it's half done.

Also some serious bending to pick up light reflections will show you where the wax is still on. Your fingers will tell you also.

BUT the best thing I discovered was doing the car when its dark with a couple of lights hooked up. This way its a breeze to see the wax when you bend down to catch the shiny versus the waxed (dull) area. Looks a bit obsessive to the neighbors but so what.
