Question Wax my wheels?

Should I wax these wheels? A friend of mine told me I need to wax them and I'm wondering if I should use regular car wax or is there something made specificly for wheels? What should I use to protect the polished lip from pitting?

i wax my car but the wheels I wipe down every few months. Seems like if you do any driving at all, it is impossible to keep the wheels looking nice on a daily basis.

The proper wax usually keeps things from sticking to the wheels once applied. Try it and you'll see.

In all honesty, any good wax should do. Just take them off and clean the wheels completely. Then apply about 3 coats for maximum protection from dust, dirt and the elements. It should be just as good.

I wax the wheels every other month or so. Brake dust comes off with ease. I dont use anything special, just regular paste wax (not liquid).

I heard people suggest using Plexus to clean your wheels. They say something about the anti-static properties of it will protect from brake dust. Is this true?

I use a regular polymer based wax to do my wheels. I wax them ever time i wax the car (about every 3 weeks) and its been great in keeping brake dust off. Also, I like to take my wheels off every couple of weeks and clean the inside of them, keeps everything looking nice and fresh.

Only if you spend more time worrying about the smiley than taking wax off your wheels
