Wash/Wax a Boat

So one of my clients asked if I would wash/wax/detail his boat.
Can I use my regular car wash/waxes ?

Or what Would you suggest ?

Thanks

Liquid Glass/Marine Grade. I know peeps in Chicago that use this to prevent salt-damage. Plus is shines just like regular Liquid Glass. *BLING*

You can find it online or at a boat store. OR just use regular wax

Nice thanks Chris. It would actually be easier to use what I already have, and more cost effective :P

How big of a boat? Depending on the size, you could be talking about a solid weekend of work. Hell, to wax just the hull of our little 24' it takes me and my father almost an hour of doing a quick job of just applying some wax. I forget how many days it took us to do our old 41' flybridge

You can use automotive products on the gel coat. I used NXT on my 23 footer with a PC and it took 3 hours roughly. 3M makes some great products for boats that you can usually buy at walmart.

my neighbor told me he uses a waterless car wash for his boat - Detail Magic. i guess it has carnauba wax, it's really a 2 in 1 wash and wax...may want to try that one.

Chopsie traded in his boat for two pancakes and a donkey back in 2006....

Collinite.

It doesn't get much more bulletproof in a wax...
