Wash mitt review.

I just recieved and used the Pure Australian Heavy Sheepskin Washmit made by Eurow and purchased from Patrick at Excel Detail .

I have used a crap load of different mitts bought from different places and this one rates up with the best ,, if not the best.

As said in the info its very plush and unlike a lot of the mitts I have bought it doesn't get all skimpy soon as you wet it down. It stays nice and full.

So if your ordering anything else ... get a mitt too .

I also got the less expensive SS mitt for whell washing and it even feels better than most mitts I see at chain stores for twice the price.

D.

P/s He didn't ask me to say this .. but he did send me a candy ..

Dale, thank you for your review. im happy you have found the Heavy Weight Sheepskin, a worthy product, to hold a place in your detail arsenal. It means a great deal from someone who is a stickler for quality.

I also got a heavy duty mitt from excel detail last week. I also decided to buy the exact same mitt from walmart to compare the quality. The Excel Detail one is top notch, feels super plush and is just all around nicer than the walmart one I got.

wash mitt is for washing with soap. I assume you're not using towels to wash the car...

and the sheepskin wash mitts from excel are awesome! well worth the money, very high quality.

this what i got from tthe zaino site:
"Towel Guidelines
I prefer high quality name brand 100% Cotton Towels Large White Bath Size for washing, drying and polishing. I don't like sponges natural or synthetic or any wash mitts, since they all can scratch.

I prefer high quality name brand 100% Cotton Towels to dry the car. Chamois or the Absorber and especially the Water Blade are flat and could trap a piece of dirt and scratch the paint finish. Towels have nap and are much safer and forgiving. Even if it were to pickup a piece of dirt, the nap would cushion it.

Again Towels must be name brand high quality 100% Made in USA."

and yes i been using the towel..
but it doesnt get soapy when i wash it

Totally ludicrous.........
I can say with 100% certainty, my sheepskin washmitts are thicker, and have 2-3 times the cushion these 100% cotton-USA made bath towels have.
Its statements like these which deter me from trying any Zaino products. Not to mention recent threads posters having difficulties figuring out the normally easy process.

I have been using the Zaino stiff for 4 years now and of all the statements Sal makes I think he has his head up his a$$ on the cotton towel one.

A) Ever try and find a good quality cotton towel made in the USA .. and if you can your sure not going to spend that kind of money on it to wash the car.
B) He doesn't tell you the brand or where to get them.
C) Granted good cotton is better than a Tee shirt for wax removal but not better than good quality plush M/F towels available form many sources including Costco.
D) I agree with him on I don't like sponges natural or synthetic as they scratch .. same with Chenelle mitts.
E) I also agree with this portion Chamois or the Absorber and especially the Water Blade are flat and could trap a piece of dirt and scratch the paint finish. but he neglects to include Microfiber drying towels be they plush or W/W which are far superior to cotton towels for drying.

I think Sal gets hung up in his own little patriotic world ... Good sheepshin mitts and Microfiber towels "aren't" made in the good ole USA so he won't recommend them. His thinking is the same as mine was ... 10 years ago.

The choices are many.......
As for Hi shipping, we're best off using flat rate shipping at either $8.99 (small) or $12.99 (large).
