Ya know ... I been pondering this for a while and doing it for a while ... BUT!!!!! I noticed my WW arent drying as well as they used to ... So I rewashed all the WW by themselves and added white vinegar to the rinse and wala ... all fine now .. conclusion ... I think in the washing the WW were picking up residual polish and wax residue .. I was noticing the M/F towels I used for windows were streaking too ... same thing ..

Now I wash them separate from the rest of the reg towels.

I have a few relatively new WW's that pretty much don't absorb water anymore after a few washes. Do you think washing it with some white vinegar fix this problem? How much do you use?

I pulled them out of the washer and hung dry them. All is well. Everything came out perfect.

Just guessing here, but maybe the cloths aren't absorbing as well as they used to because of soap buildup in the washing machine as opposed to being washed with the MFs? Most of us use way more laundry soap than necessary to wash our clothes, and the excess soap really builds up in the washer. A wash/rinse with vinegar is a sure-fire way to cut the soap residue, and that would help with the drying too. (Works great for hair, too!)

Should a person run vineger through their washing machine by itself through a full cycle?? I know that you can run vineger through a coffee pot to help it work better.
