Turtle Wax Ice - Spray Detailer
Turtle Wax Ice - Spray Detailer
So I decided to try out give this a shot, considering you can use it while it's blazing hot outside and it doesn't leave trashy white residue, which in fact really angers me after I wash my car for 2 hours, and wax for another hour and end up having a bunch of white crap stuck in between cracks. But here it goes.
These pictures don't really do justice, because my car looks a lot better in person haha, and plus, it's my phone's 1.3megapixel camera. The quality of the product is actually pretty good.
So pretty much, you should have a bunch of clean Terry Cloths with you when using this product. If you're really lazy, and don't feel like washing your car, you can use it even with all the pollen on your car, but it'll make you go through more terry cloths. I think I went through about 5 terry cloths just to clean my car. Oh well. You apply the product to one of the panels on your car, and start in a small section. You do not want to apply it to your whole car, because it will dry and and will leave marks on your paint, which doesn't look pretty.
Also, as a reminder, try not to get this product onto windows or glass. It's not recommended. For the small pillars, just spray some onto the cloth, and wipe. For those who really don't pay attention reading, I'll make it a more noticeable font.
DO NOT APPLY THIS PRODUCT ONTO WINDOWS AND GLASS.
After you apply it to a small section of your car, you take a terry cloth, wipe with ONE side of the cloth. Doesn't matter your car still looks wet. After you wipe the whole area, it's supposed to look wet. That's where the other side of the terry cloth comes in. You will use the other side, to wipe and dry the remaining liquids on your car. If it leaves marks, just try buffing it out in circle motions. That always seems to make it go away and look nice
I don't recommend you using one terry cloth for the whole car. I would use a terry cloth for two sections, then use a new one for the other 2 sections, then use another one. For the hood, I ended up using two as well.
After about an hour of being outside and sweating like crazy, I would rate this product a 7.3 out of 10. This product does not cost much, and doesn't require much work to get a great shine onto your car. I highly recommend it, especially if you run into those instances where you just have to make your car pretty for the ladies in a short amount of time. I'm sure most of you guys have run into those situations. Don't lie.
