Touch Free Car Wash wax questions.
Hello,
I am not a big proponent of touch free car washes, but sometimes in the winter I just can't help but going to one. Anyway's, I was wondering if the Tri Foam wax remotely protects the car at all, even if it's for a short amount of time. I usually just get the cheapest wash that provides an under carriage wash, however, if the Triple Foam Wax, or whatever it's called will give me a little extra protection against salt, I will probably start getting that one instead.
Thanks much.
Jeff

I doubt it will last the next rain or snow .. and the touchless washes with thier harsh chemicals will take off more protection than you think your doing your paint good.
If you can't properly wash your car in winter just go to the coin op wash and use the rinse spray to get off the majority of the crud and the salt.
Keep the brushes and the chemicals off it.

Unless its a matter of not having the time, I couldn't recommend Optimum No-Rinse. I can clean my CL in the dead of winter even on a really cold day with a hot/warm bucket of ONR and a sheepskin and a WaffleWeave to dry. you'll save yourself a ton in the long run too.
