Surface scratches on plastic bumper

I have surface scratches on the front plastic bumper on my TLX. Is it advisable to use regular compound to get rid of them?

"Regular" compound? There's irregular compound?

What you use depends on how deep the scratches are. Start with least aggressive polish and pad combo. Move up a level for each until scratches are gone.

Example: Try Menzerna MC 2500 on white polishing pad. Not enough cut? Try MC 2500 on a orange pad. Still not enough? MC 2400 on a orange pad... etc.

How deep are the scratches? Pics?

A "klaybar" doesn't do anything to remove scratches.

^my fellow astronaut is correct.

and its likely you wont remove scratches by hand...a novice machine would be the PC7424XP which is an orbital polishing machine...

Always Always start with the least aggressive course of action!

If you don't have a machine polisher, you can try something like Meguiars PlastX.
