Hmm I think you should get a little pratice with a buffer before you start detailing other people's cars. Unless its a friends car and you let them know whats up. Then it shoud be ok.
I agree with jesstzn with
UDM
Optimum Compound & Yellow pad
Optimum Polish and a white pad
Any sealer/wax that excel has should do you good.
German paint can be tough! Good Luck!

I like Menzerna Polishes. I would go with either Menzerna Power Gloss Compound or Meguiars M105 compound on a LC yellow pad folowed with Menzerna 106ff Nano polish on a white LC pad.

Phee, Im like all the rest, Optimum Compound, followed by Optimum Polish. You may or may not need the Yellow, but it would be nice to have on hand......
At a minimum, Opt Compound/Orange Pad....Optimum Polish/WHite pad.
Follow up with either FS UPP, Optimum Spray Wax, Danase Sealant, DG 111 (Out of stock, thanks guys!!), DG 105, 1Z Glanz Wax...

Curious, why you would need the Optimum polish if you already have the Optimum compound? Is it for finer scratches?

well the compound will most likely cause some micro marring, so the polish will even them out better

Assuming that glare in the pic above is the sun ... count on doing the whole car with a orange pad and something like Optimum Compound followed by a white pad and Optimum Polish

Don't plan anything else for the rest of the day .

This one took 2 of us 6 hours including the interior and all the dressing

How long ago has the car been re-painted? That paint must cure before waxing and such.

Yes but you may get some hazing you will need to take out with a polishing pad and a finer polish.
