Spray waxes

I'm interested in what the pros here think of the newer spray waxes for "in-between" touch ups of the car's wax coat. (e.g., Meguiars Ultimate).

My car is relatively new so the paint is in good condition.

My thought is to use the spray wax after a wash to refresh that just-waxed look in between 3x/year waxings.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

In my opinion there's nothing better than Optimum Car Wax.

If you want another option, I have some Griot's Garage Spray Wax that I like pretty well too.

My current favorites are Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant and Optimum Car Wax. Both leave a super slick surface and both are very durable for spray sealants.

Any spray wax is better than none at all. A couple favorites of mine would be Duragloss AquaWax or Optimum Spray wax, slight edge to optimum for its buttery surface and super slick feeling. Slight edge to AquaWax for ease of use.
I prefer using after every wash as well. If Im in a hurry I will apply while drying, otherwise I use after all has been dried.

optimum spray wax seems to "smear" or streak on my car when it is dry - how do you apply it without these problems? I use a mf and spray directly on the paint surface, then wipe around and buff. What am I doing wrong? When I use it while drying, I get much better results......

The Spray Wax can be temperamental on warm surfaces, atop non-cured Nubas and sealants, when used in sunlight, and when humidity levels are high. Try spraying directly on the MF, wipe in, and use opposing hand with an additional MF to buff off.......

well, I am in Georgia, the humidity capital of the Southeast, so that could be part of the problem. thanks for the tips - will give them a a run in a couple days when the rain stops.
