Spoiler Removal

I've had the M3 style lip spoiler on my car for about 3 years now and I'm kinda growing tired of it. I would like to remove it but worry about possible damage to the paint.

It's placed with 2 strips of 3M (it think) tape. Any tips/pointers for removal?

Heat up with blow dryer, or pour warm water over it.
and then simply remove.

got to heat up the adhesive and get as much of it off as possible, then you may have to scrape the rest off gently

It should be the same as removing emblems..? Use dental floss to remove the spoiler then take a hair dryer to the tape, like everyone else said

i think with a hair dryer, dental floss, and goo gone you should be able to remove it and it will look like it was never there
