Some questions regarding various situations involving Zaino

Few questions regarding Zaino:

(Not really a newbie...just some questions to situations I am curious about)

1. Is it okay to drive with layer of Z2 or Z5, then come back from wherever and wipe it off?

2. I know you apply it up/down OR front/back depending on the area of the car (side, top, hood, etc.), but when you wipe it down...Does it need to be wiped in the same direction it was applied, or can you just wipe in circular motions or whatnot?

3. After applying and wiping off a coat of Zaino, then going out and driving and parking your car somewhere, is it okay/safe to come back and apply another coat, provided there is no substantial debris or dust coating your car? Or is this a risk to scratching your paint?

Thanks guys! I'll post any more questions if I have any.

P.S. I'll take any answer, ESPECIALLY those from "Acura Professional Detailiers"

1) You can, BUT you never know what's going to land on the vehicle that you might not notice in getting from Point A to Point B. I'd be worrying about scratching the car if something had settled on it and I didn't notice it. You could try a California Car Duster before removing the Z.

2) No need to remove in the same manner. I usually go "against the grain" from how I put it on.

3) See No. 1.

P.S. Hmm. I'm not a professional Acura detailer. Maybe I should move on to the Suzuki Swift or Daewoo boards

Re: Some questions regarding various situations involving Zaino

1. Ask Zapata. That's what that dumbass did for the Park Ave Acura Meet.

2. Doesn't matter.

3. I wouldn't. Too much industrial fallout in the air. I say give it a wash, even if you just use water and no soap.

Well I'm a wannabe "Acura Professional Detailiers", does that count?

Re: Some questions regarding various situations involving Zaino

1. I wouldn't drive around with it on - just asking for dust, pollen, debris, etc... to get stuck on it. If you are in a rush - get some zfx drying accelerator.

2. More or less follow the bodylines when applying. I try to remove it against the way I applied and then buff.

3. If you dust it off well and z6 pretty well, then maybe. I wouldn't do that though. I would wait till your next wash. Also, you really want to wait at least 12-24 between coats for it to "cure" unless you are using zfx, then you can do up to 3 in one day.

Good luck!
