Nice stuff!!! I don't wanna upset anyone reading this, including you, but I have heard bad things about the Hex-Logic pads..fyi...

Boars hair brush is NICE!!! i'm jelous!
I would like to know how the small foam applicator works, and what your intended purpose is.

I love my Brinkmann...can't beat it for the price!!

Would also like an update on the blower too!!

Hmm I heard that theres not much of a difference between the CCS pads and the HL pads. Was paying for shipping anyway so I picked up some.

I only got the foam pad because I needed $25 to get 15% off The Uber BHB was $24.95

Used the blower to clean my patio... its definitely not the best quality blower but for $40, its very powerful. Will use it tomorrow and provide feedback.

I can see your point about the pads...I have CCS pads I think they do just a fine job. looking forward to feedback on the little blower.

Does the new car scent really work? Where did you get it from? Do you just apply it to carpet, upholstery, etc?

A lot of times detailers will use Citrus Wash & Gloss to prep the paint and remove previous coats of protection or polish residue, perfect for starting a full detail. Super Slick & Suds is an excellent maintenance shampoo that is great at cleaning (lots of suds and lubricity) but is designed to keep your protective layers in tact.

Smells decent. I spray / mist it underneath the floor mats.

Exactly. Thanks George

I actually have ONR and Megs GC too. I just finished my OCW... I use Megs GC for wheels only.

My "review" of my new blower

http://www.chemicalguys.com/ELECTRIC..._p/acc_303.htm

For $40, I love it! Its ~2.5lbs and pretty damn powerful. I used it to blow water out of the lug nut area, emblems, moldings, gaps, mirrors and grill. THEN I used it to clear off all the polish dust on the car! I push of the button and the majority of it was off the car... the rest had dusted off onto my face

I used it as part of my drying step too. I blew off the majority of the water on all the panels, drying the panel after I blew off the excess water. I ended up only using ONE (1) Pacific MF WW towel... 16x24 I think. It wasn't even soaked and probably could've dried 0.5-1 more cars using the same process!

Very impressed and for only $40, I give it

Oh BTW, a wet BHB smells like shit... FYI. Roll your windows down on the drive home after using

My acronyms were OPP = Optimum Protectant Plus OTC = Optimum Tire Shine

I just hate fussing the the cord..but I think I will like the nozzle that is tapered for a more forceful air flow.

^ Who's this mysterious friend? Todd?

I really like it. With a long extension cord, you can use it anywhere. Not as good as compressed air but being mobile, I don't want to carry around a compressor and tanks don't last for sh*t.

I'll bring it over when I stop by. We should do something soon.

Sounds good. I'll be doing a detail home on Saturday and one in Schaumburg on Sunday (brand new GT-R.. can't wait!) so feel free to stop by Saturday just give me a heads up.

I'll have to see with my friend... a friend of mine who does tints and another guy, who does clear bra and stuff, share a shop up there by Roselle and Wise streets... I'm going up there early to do the detail, then they're doing the tints and clear bra.

I'll let you know by the weekend if they mind.

Got my tints from him and my tail light overlays. Talked to that guy on the phone so many times because he never has the film I want... so he has to order it.

I don't remember the clear bra guy's name but he did my overlays... I saw his work on an 09 CTS-V... immaculate!

Maybe I can lend a hand, if you need it.
