I finally purchased a seat protector that hangs on the backs of the two front seats, but not before my 3 year old managed to put a few scratches in the plastic (?) section of the seat back by kicking it with his shoes. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the scratches?

Obviously the car gets trashed on regular basis, but the rubber floor mats, car seat protectors, and seat back protectors have helped a ton.
