scratch protection

scratch protection

I had my 2002 cl for two months and i noticed some nasty scratches in a swirl pattern ( i guess osmeone was jealous) is ther any way to get these off? i tryed scratch removers and nothing. what should i do? what would protect and shine really well also

$10 says you did it washing your car. Let us know what you use to wash and dry it (rag, foam mitt, MF towels) and I'll tell you if I'm right.

And if you say to take it to a DIY place and use the soapy brush I'm gonna drive up to Boston and beat your ass.

As far as removing them, you'll need an orbital buffer. No hadn application effectively removes swirls. I have had much succes with 3M Swirl Mark Remover (SMR) with an orbital buffer.

IMHO even a small rag with a little hand effort will suffice. 3m has a compound that i use but dont remember offhand. black is such a biatch to maintain (my car), just make sure you don't burn through the clear with the orbital buffer.

ok thanx so the 3m product will do, and no it wasnt from a car wash it was hand done by some jealous person they are scratches some ina swirl pattern. i just want them gone
