Rim And Tire Cleaners...What Happens If You Spray The Breaks?
Hello,
I have an 06 TL and just bought the eagle one tire and wheel cleaner.
the one that is in the gray bottle.
My question is, when you spray this stuff onto your rims and tires, it is inevitable that some will get sprayed onto your brakes.
is it harmful?
Thanks for advice.

I've not noticed or had no adverse effects. Spray on, agitate if necessary and rinse thoroughly. Just make sure wheel and brake is cooled prior to application. You also have the option of removing the wheel & tire for a more complete cleaning (semi-annual).

it is safe for brake and I actually use it to clean calipers and springs/shocks. I wouldn't use it on the disc or calipers directly though.
