Repost: Xzilon Molecular Adhesion
I tried searching for threads on here for this XZILON stuff the dealership is telling my dad about. I've looked up on other forums, and people are talking about how it's usually $500, and that each year you have to take your car in and get it reapplied, and that waxing or polishing your car voids warranties of the XZILON. It's basically just a really durable sealent. I was just wondering if anyone has any experiences with the stuff. Thanks in advance.

Not a problem. I think the consensus here is, use the money for your own benefit, and care for the Acura for years down the line.......The Xzilon isnt a bad product when analyzed side by side something comporable. Its just not what their claiming. And thats the frustrating, and dishonesty which drives "those who know beforhand" to stear clear......

Now, I am scared to even wax my car, since wrong waxing technique will damage the coating and void the warranty. Even sadder, I don't know what the warranty is supposed to cover.
