Removing tar from my 3M clear bra

Hey guys,

I had the unfortunate experience of having to drive through fresh oil the other day. As a result, I have fresh tar all over my front bumper. I have a 3M clear bra, so I'm not sure what I can use to remove the tar. I have some Rain-X Bug and Tar remover that says it's "Clear coat safe." Do you think that I could use this to try and remove it from my 3M clear bra? I can't imagine that it's too strong. Well, if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great!

Thanks much!

Jeff

Should be OK if you do it right away. I would immediately wash afterwards to make sure the tar remover is completely gone. Don't forget to reapply wax or sealant.

Agreed, 3M is pretty durable, just don't scrub too hard obviously, should turn out just fine, and yeah also don't forget to wax and or add a sealant
