refinishing wheel
i got my car used a few years back with a lot of curb rashes on the wheels, i was wonder has anyone ever tried to refinish their wheels themselves?

many people have, its pretty simple really, the hardest thing is probably finding matching paint...
Clean the area up with alcohol
Apply some bondo/putty, let dry
Sand down putty to make it level and look nice
Take scotch brite pad and scuff up the whole rim (avoid putty)
Spray some primer and let dry
Spray paint and let dry
Spray another 2-3 coats of paint and let dry
Spray 2 coats of clear for that extra gloss.
Be sure to mask up everything but the rim!
