maybe i missed it, but i'm surprised noone has asked this before...

has anyone ever thought of mixing Z2 and Z5 together in 1 ZFX vile???

i've been curious myself but never had the ballz to try it

(thinking out loud) the Z2/Z5 mix anyway on the paint, so it's not like they're gonna react in the vile...they share some properties together, so that's cool...maybe some of the individual properties will b lost, tho

but i should stay away from the detailing forum since thers all this salt and slush on my car, i hate the damn winter lol

just do the z5 then the z2. that way you will get more coats and it will shine even more

When I do a “3-Coat Saturday”, I usually start off with a mix of Z-5/ZFX in a mixing bottle.
Once the car is done there’s usually some mixture left in the bottle. Anywhere from a light coating to a quarter inch or so.
I don’t waste this, I top it off with Z-2/ZFX and continue with coat #2.
After that I refill with more Z-2/ZFX for the 3rd application.

This isn’t exactly “mixing” like you’re asking about, but they ARE in the bottle together for a time.

Definitely worth an E-Mail to Sal I would say.

You CAN mix Z2 and Z5, and Z2 + Z5 + ZFX.
