"quality" microfiber towels???
Everyone here mentions using "quaility" microfiber towels to apply polish/wax, and a "quality" waffle microfiber towel for drying. How do you know if the microfiber is "quaility"? When I go to my local store (WalMart, Pep Boys, AutoZone, etc) there really isn't a wide selection of microfiber towels. There's basically 1 or 2, and usually they come in some 3 pack, and are small.
So, my questions are:
1. how do you know if it's a quaility MF towel
2. where (besides online) can you get quailty MF towels, esp. the big waffle drying one.

1 - Do the CD scratch test
Take an old CD and wipe across the CD with the MF towel you want to test. Does it scratch? Move to the next one.
2 - The best ones I've found were from www.yosteve.com Reasonably priced and are great quality

Read the articles on these two sites:
http://properautocare.com/classic-m...cwhatbigde.html
http://www.autopia.org (there is an article under the section where they sell MF products)
Keep in mind that both are vendor sites (although, both well respected) but they tend to agree on what goes into making a quality MF product.
I have purchased from Proper Auto Care and love their towels. They are offering reduced prices on their Microfiber Magic Towel (2 for $9.95). http://properautocare.com/classic-m...racletowel.html
The "Big Blue II Drying Towel" is simply amazing. I'll never go back to my ABSORBER.
