Which polish to use after paint chip repair

any suggestions on which polish to use after paint chip repair? i know it cant be perfect but i want it to be as unnoticeable as possible.

any ways, im looking at poorboy's product on excel's site and i dont know whats the difference between pb pro polish and pb ssr 1/2/3. they both seem to be polishes. if i was to use one of these after the paint repair, which pb should i use? and what abrasive level would pb pro polish be? patrick you know this thread is for you

How bad is/are the paint chips and how are you planning to do the paint chip repair..... touch up, Langka, wet sand, Quixx, etc.?

It might not even be necessary to do any (heavy?) polishing.

yea im planning to use langka's blob eliminator. I believe there needs to be some polishing after repairing paint chips cause i read it everywhere on the internet. i just want a polish for hiding the repair defects and for future uses

Well, their pro polish is a paint cleaner/pre-wax cleaner. Not really a true polish from what I understand.

If you're looking for a true polish to remove swirls/marring or to touch up the paint chip repairs and are interested in Poorboy's line of products, stick with their SSR line.

SSR 1 is their least aggressive polish. As you move up the # line, the polish gets more aggressive. I say get a bottle of SSR 1 and SSR 2.5

Another good polish is from Optimum. Check out their Optimum compound, polish, and PoliSeal. A lot of people here like them.

Works perfect .. I have used it on Lanka treated areas .. it will dull the paint very slightly.

Here is a tip for you .. when you use the Lanka they give you a plastic card with it .. the material out of the hip or bum of womans panties works great at removing the blob without marring hardly at all. Pull it tight around the card and put a couple drops of the solution on it and rub in a str8 line not circular.

Just don't steal them off the neighbors clothes line.

To edit the above post .. The Lanka will dull the paint very slightly requiring a mild polish.
