Well yesterday I decided to purify my 99 TL's finish. I had bought some Turtle Wax Ice liquid polish and I wanted to give it a try. It is extremely easy to apply, but not as easy to remove. Not too hard, but you really need 2 MF towel's to get it all off, which I like because a good polish shouldn't be extremely easy to remove anyway. This stuff fills in swirls and fine scratches extremely well and gives off a very nice clean glow. I was very impressed because it is a Turtle wax product and none of their products ever impressed me. I then topped it with a coat of Mothers California Gold 'nuba and my cars paint looks amazing. For what I spent I couldn't imagine a better bang for the buck. the pits of my front bumper and hood look smooth and you can't even tell they are there unless you are a foot or so away. Overall I would recommend these 2 products, I know most of you have used Mothers 'nuba before. They do make a very good 'nuba though, especially for the money.

Nice little write up! Did you clay prior to polshing?
Most of us are a little anal retentive when to comes OTC products, but its always nice to have another OTC product written up! Any pics?

sorry I don't have a digicam, but the shine is impressive for basic OTC stuff. I didn't clay this time. I last clayed about 5-6 months ago and plan on doing it again soon. Next products I will buy will be from autgeek.com I love that site. I'll probably go with the forum favorite package and give that a whirl.
