Just curious as to what the difference is, if any, between the old and new versions of the polish and compound.

Has anyone every compared the two side by side?

You will find the new Optimum a little thicker, & faster cutting (same with the compound). Still has the user friendly lubricants, just on a lower scale. The new version was developed at the request of Optimums customers.
