Odor coming from the HVAC vents?
Does anyone have advice or know of any special products that can eliminate musty odors that come from the vents when I turn on the heat or AC...it's kinda nasty.
By the way, Honda makes this awesome spray you can get at the dealership for $5. It comes in an aerosal can and lasts a while...it smells pleasant and doesn't overkill your car with shine...very good stuff. I asked my salesperson what they use to clean dashboards, and he showed me this stuff.

Yes, I forgot what the product was called but you can spray it where you interior cabin filter is located with your fan on. I used it on my VW after the rain season in Washington in 2003, it got rid of the smell pretty well.

Just ask someone at the dealer. They should know if they sell it.
I just use Lysol. It does the job just as well.
Turn on the air full blast in the car and spray it in the vent at the base of the window (on the outside) for about 5 seconds.
