October give-away
Exceldetail.com is giving away a 16oz bottle of Surf City Pacific Blue Wash and Wax, this month!
Sometimes we think Wash & Wax really means Wash & Scratch. So at Surf City Garage, we decided to do something about it. The result is Pacific Blue. It's got a super-strong cleaning power with ocean foaming action that isolates dirt particles so they can't scratch your paint. Plus it leaves a Carnauba Wax coating on your car's surface without ever stripping your existing wax. It even smells fresh, just like the Pacific itself. So the next time your car needs a great wash and gentle wax, Surf's Up with Pacific Blue.
Yours for free, if your selected.
No purchase is necessary, winner will be notified at close of monthly contest. Open only to United States residents, currently residing in United states. Participants may only enter once per month.
All you need to do is add yourself to the contest!

The link is set up to send an email if you use Outlook as your email application. If you use a web-based email, just send an email to promo@exceldetail.com with the information listed above

Pat - I'm not sure on that, I've never heard of being able to do that. The reason I don't think it's possible is because Outlook (Microsoft's Email program) is an application, like Internet Explorer, Paint, etc. However, web based email like Yahoo runs through Internet Explorer, so, somehow your link would need to not only tell the computer to open internet explorer, then log in to their yahoo / hotmail / etc. account, then compose an email, etc.
However, a way around it all is to just use Outlook. If you have Microsoft Office on your computer (Word, Excel, etc) you should have Outlook. Most web based email accounts have instructions on how to set up Outlook to read / compose your email (without having to open internet explorer and log in, etc.). If anyone is interested in doing this, you need to find the instructions on your provider's (Yahoo, etc) site for POP3 email access.
Hope this made sense, I'm not that great at explaining computer stuff...but I know how to use them alright

I wasnt sure if it was what you wanted to know. FYI, if you want to change your default email, here is the instructions:
- left click on Start (I am assuming you are using Windows XP)
- on the right hand side, click on Control Panel
- click on Switch to Classic View (if you arent in it already)
- double click on Mail
- Click on Email Accounts
- select which email you want as your default email
- click on the button "Set as default"
